According to my teammate who has several Isami gis is that the cut favors a more 'Asian' body-type compared to other brands which means the torso is longer and the pants are shorter. Now whether that fits you I have no idea but in my experience I've run in to the problem of the top being near perfect but the pants being too long.

There are also two production sources for Isami (China and Japan). The ones produced in Japan tend to be the custom-fitted gis and are near $300 USD retail.
